About Us

Winchester Federal Savings and Loan Association was
chartered in 1934 during the Great Depression to promote
thrift and home ownership for everyone. We gave our first
loan January 14, 1935 on a house that was built on
Pendleton Street. The loan was for $1,200 with a payment
of $12 per month. While costs have changed, our purpose
has remained the same - people helping people.
