Join us on North Main Street in Winchester for an afternoon outside enjoying our community with art & ice cream - all for a great cause.
Scooped is a pottery & ice cream event that we at Dirty South Pottery hosts annually to raise money for non-profits in our community. We make over 200 unique ice cream bowls in our studio throughout the year for the event! You’ll be able to reserve your bowl ahead of time by buying a ticket, and then showing up the day of the event ready to enjoy your sweet treat, a handmade bowl, our beautiful downtown & the joy of supporting meaningful organizations.
100% of the proceeds from this year’s Scooped will be split evenly between the Clark Co. Homeless Coalition and Leed’s Center for the Arts. Both of these nonprofits are doing wonderful work in our community, and still recovering from years of canceled or scaled back fund raising events.
In addition to the proceeds of the event, Dirty South Pottery will also be donating 15% of their daily sales on May 21st to these non-profits, so make sure you swing by if you’d like to help us add to the total donation amount!
What you can expect from the 2022 Scooped event:
- Tickets will be purchased with a certain time attached – you’ll be able to pick up your bowl at your ticketed time. (Tickets go on sale May 14th at 10am)
- Each ticket will be $17 each - you can purchase more than one ticket if you’d like more than one bowl! .
- You’ll be picking your ice cream & bowl up in front of Leed’s Center for the Arts.
- You’ll need to bring a print out of your ticket to show OR be able to show your ticket on your phone to our volunteers.
- Unique and handmade Mystery Ice Cream Bowls will be wrapped beforehand and safely packaged in a bag. We will not be serving the ice cream from the bowls this year, but you’ll find a few extra goodies in your bag!
