7 times a day, someone in this country dies in a home fire.
The American Red Cross is joining with fire departments and community groups nationwide to reduce the number of home fire deaths and injuries by 25% over the next five years by canvassing neighborhoods, installing smoke alarms and delivering fire prevention information.
On Saturday, March 25, 2017 the Red Cross is teaming up with the Winchester Volunteer Fire Department and other community groups to canvas pre selected neighborhoods to see if homes have smoke alarms and installing them free of charge!
Training and all equipment needed will be supplied!!
We are encouraging and inviting everyone to come join us on this wonderful, life saving, event.
