What is a skillshare?
A skillshare is an event where community members, organizations, hobbyists, and artists gather to informally share their skills, hobbies, and artistic talents with other community members.
Skills and hobbies shared include woodworking, gardening techniques, outdoor skillsets, birding, orienteering, beekeeping, and tree identification -- just to name a few!
The purpose of a skillshare is to connect and empower community members and is for all ages!
-A skillshare is NOT an event or space to sell items but it can be a space to promote your organization or direct people to more information about the skill you are sharing.
-A skillshare is NOT an event to only table information - skillshares should be interactive and as hands-on or demonstrative as possible.
