DESCRIPTION:Starting in the 19th century\, at least three quarries were used to extract stone for various structures in the area. We'll visit two on this moderately strenuous hike\; there will be rest opportunities. Meet at the Main Entrance (0.7 mile north of Hall's on the River on Athens-Boonesboro Rd.).
